Stamp the design with Versamark Ink and heat emboss with white powder onto a square of white card.....



Rub the Gelatos randomly over the embossed image then lightly spray with a mist of water....



When finished rub over it gently with a cloth  to remove the Gelatos from the stamped design.....



Tear the panel a little way down.....



Add some gelato to a small piece of white card and spritz as before to blend it......




Stick this behind the torn panel. Use the Gelatos on some white organza ribbon and spritz again. Dry it off and add it to the panel.
Tie a bow and add this also.....



Cut a slightly larger square of white card and mount the panel to it.  Add this to a black card blank.....



Add dots of liquid pearls onto the ribbon and also to the top right corner.

Begin by scribbling a selection of colours of Gelatos onto the shapes.



Use tissue to blend the colours together.



Do both sides of the shapes.



Take Green Gold Fluid Acrylic paint and paint the edges, the beads ad the string of each piece.

Add spots of paint to the shapes and allow to dry.



Brayer a thin layer of acrylic paint onto a craft mat and use the paint to stamp the words onto the shapes.

Use the frame stamp to add detail to any gaps and leave to dry.

When dry, repeat on the other side.

(Remember to clean your stamp immediately after using with paint.)

When everything is dry; add a little sparkle by rubbing on some Distress Stickles and dry.



Use a glue gun to adhere some flowers to the birds.



Use a dot of Black enamel accents for eyes and leave to dry.

For my first project this year I wanted something colourful and that used Gelatos throughout. I created a mini canvas, all the embellishments are bits found in my stash from metal washers to buttons, plastic, paper flowers and paper clay. A coat of gesso and the gelatos went on it all.



Here's how I made it.....

On mini canvas, spread gesso with pallet knife creating some texture, dry and do another layer the same.



Use black Stazon ink to stamp the two small writing stamps from the PaperArtsy Darcy sets. Dry.



Next use Versamark ink and dab through the diamond stencil. Sprinkle over some clear ultra thick embossing powder and heat to melt.



Then use pink and purple gelatos to colour directly onto the canvas. Use a damp paintbrush and wash over gelatos to blend colours.
Use a wet wipe to wipe over embossed areas replacing the stencil first makes it easier. Then just dab all over with wet wipe to give a
nice textured look.



When dry, run grey gelato around edges, smooth with finger then rub some silver gliding wax around the edge.
Next take your embellishments, paint with gesso. I did two coats. Dry. Then rub over them with a gelato and smooth the colour over.



I used buttons, paper flowers, chipboard heart covered with book page, metal washer, plastic corner thingy and a bird made with crafters
paper clay in a mold.
Glue your embellishments to your canvas to finish.
