Double layout using Kaisercraft Rustic Harmony and Coredinations Cardstock. I have used both sides of each of the two papers
Cut out the required pieces and ink the edges with Dried Marigold Distress Ink. Cut all but the two narrow script strips in half
Place the strips as shown , weave them and stick in place
Punch three flowers and ink the edges then add to the strip. Cut a 3.5" x 4" panel of floral paper and add the tag then stick to top right of the page
Add a small paper flower
Cut a 5" square of floral paper and add the photo
Repeat the weaving for the second page. Punch five butterflies from the paper and add onto the layout. 3d the message panel
Repeat the square for the photo and layer the remaining panels
Products Used
Kaisercraft Rustic Harmony
Coredinations Card Stock
Dried Marigold Distress Ink
Flower Punch
Butterfly Punch

I've made a little sketchbook.... the photo will give you an idea of the size.
A little while ago I had a pile of tiny strips left over from another project which I just pushed to one side of my desk at the time meaning to bin them later.
Then, this week's theme of weaving came up and I decided to use them instead of tossing them. So I started to weave them and ended up with this.
Using the size of the finished weave as a guide I cut 10 pieces of white sketching paper and 1 piece of kraft card to a suitable size.
I folded the card in half and re opened it to give me a guide and laying it on top of the white paper stapled the whole lot together.
Once that was done I folded the whole thing to make a little book and trimmed off the edges to neaten everything with a craft knife and ruler.
I added a strip of double sided tape around the book and attached a flat piece of ribbon to the cover to create a tie to keep the book closed.
Over this I glued the woven piece of card.
When that was dry I swiped the archival ink over the whole book to add some colour and highlight the texture of the weaving.
To protect and seal the book I gave it a coat of Finishing Medium.
To finish it off I simply added a flower as I didn't want to cover up the woven texture too much.
Materials
White and brown card
Strips of patterned paper
Stapler
Ribbon

Ok with me but if I can make a suggestion jane the projects were previously split over a week instead of three consecutive days which made them last the week
I understand if this is more work for you and it can't be done this way
I shouldnt wish to cause you any problems
P xx

You are absolutely right Pauline, it is no extra work and I shall be trying to get back to that when I have caught up with myself!!!
Hopefully I shall get a bit more sorted once we are on blogger!! I want to add some extra posts in too so there will be something on the blog most days. Just need to get myself in gear !!!!!
